
FROM BARCELONA TO MUMBAI

The Palau de la Música Catalana and the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation present a choral concert on July 31 at the Tata Theatre at 6.30 pm with 300 children from the city of Mumbai. The concert is a culmination of 5 weeks of intense practice with the choral directors of the Orfeó Catalá. Children from the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation, The Cathedral and John Connon School, Bombay International School, Happy Home & School For The Blind, The Bai Avabai F. Petit Girls’ High School and The Stop-Gaps Cultural Academy will participate in this concert.
With the exciting collaboration of Palau de la Música Catalana, the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation sees an innovative opportunity to address the needs of schools and the community, engaging new audiences: children, families and young adults. This vital partnership will make more magic and touch more lives in a sustained effort to broaden understanding and appreciation of the different cultures of India and Spain.
