We are very fortunate to have Mr Zubin Mehta and Mr Zarin Mehta, the sons of the late Mr Mehli Mehta, on our Council. Mr Zubin Mehta's many visits to India have made him personally involved in all aspects of the Foundation and he has enabled us to invite some of the great orchestras of the world to Mumbai. As a result of these performances, the Foundation has been financially secure and in a position to implement new programmes.

The function of the Board is to assist the Foundation by identifying potential sponsors, donors and benefactors in order to achieve the Foundation’s objectives viz to promote music education and present high quality events.

The volunteer executive committee meets weekly, organizes the implementation of all programmes, and supervises the daily operations of the Foundation.
