Sangat 2009

The Mehli Mehta Music Foundation will present its fourteenth annual Chamber Music Festival “Sangat” with 3 concerts on December 18, 19 and 20, 2009 at the Tata Theatre at 6.30 pm, and a special concert for children on December 15, 2009 at the Experimental Theatre at 6.30 pm.

The first concert on December 18, will be dedicated to the ‘Light of Life’ Trust to assist them in raising funds for educational projects for disadvantaged children in four rural districts of Mahahrashtra.

Sangat maintains its promise to bring to Mumbai audiences some of the finest musicians and artists from different parts of the world with concerts of the highest quality. There will be a few familiar faces but some outstanding new artists will be joining them.

Programmes will include works by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms and Dvorak.

Invitation passes will be available on a first-cum-first served basis at the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation, B/2, Banoo Mansions, Cumballa Hill Road, Mumbai 400 036 from 10 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
